A Brief Background Of Earle Gary Goodman

Earle Gary Goodman is an active member of the State Bar of California and has been AV rated for over the past 40 years and is listed in The Bar Register Of Preeminent Lawyers under real estate law. He is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Economics and a graduate of the UCLA School of Law.

Earle comes from a long time Southern California real estate family which was noted for owning numerically one of the largest portfolios of Southern California real estate at the time. He knows what it is like as a principal and attorney working with complex legal issues and managing an estate owning hundreds of properties. For over 15 years Earle served as General Counsel of his family's trust and later General Counsel and General Partner to the limited partnership into which the trust was converted. The partnership consisted of 10 close and distantly related family members and 4 major charities. Earle actively managed the orderly disposition of the partnership's hundreds of Southern and Central California real properties, many of which properties were also co-owned with up to 8 unrelated other families, each other family with multiple family beneficiaries. During this entire term there were never any legal actions filed by or against the partnership or any of its properties due to Earle's pragmatic analytical legal decisions, sound management policies and sensitivity towards the positions of others.

Earle Goodman has a substantial background in litigation and transactions. He began his legal career developing courtroom skills as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County. After entering private practice he represented parties in matters involving a broad spectrum of legal areas including criminal defense, real estate, business, probate and family law litigation, transactions involving real estate, business, partnerships, corporations, commercial and UCC contracts, employment and estate planning. With both a litigation and transaction background, Earle drafts and negotiates sophisticated residential and commercial real estate transactions with the insight of a litigation attorney who analyzes the weaknesses and flaws of a transaction.

With regard to residential estates, Earle knows the estate areas of the Los Angeles County Westside (West Hollywood through Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Santa Monica to Malibu), Pasadena/San Marino, Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. In addition to owning and constructing homes in lower Bel Air, Malibu Point Dume Bluff and the Hollywood Hills and negotiating real estate transactions throughout Southern and Central California, Earle is also a licensed real estate broker (DRE License No. 01096576). He has been a member of the following local associations of realtors: Malibu Association of Realtors; Combined Los Angeles/Westside ("CLAW") Association of Realtors; Santa Barbara Association of Realtors; and Conejo Valley Association of Realtors (now The Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors).

Today Earle provides experienced legal services focused on sophisticated residential and commercial real estate transactions.
